Juniper Nova is an up and coming band from Stockholm, Sweden. The band plays a dark and melancholic rock, influenced by bands such as Radiohead, Porcupine Tree, Muse and Siouxsie and the Banshees.
Juniper Nova was formed in the beginning of 2008, when guitarists and songwriters Johan Adamsson and Daniel Lundh joined forces with singer extraordinaire Linda Kratz. They had been sharing a rehearsal space for years in an old bomb shelter in a Stockholm suburb, but always in separate bands. The group was later completed by the rhythm section of drummer Erik Larsson and bass player/musical journeyman Johan Mörk – and Juniper Nova was born!
In September 2008 the band completed their first studio recording, the Hearing Voices EP, at One Touch Edit Studio in Stockholm. Pleased with the result Juniper Nova got back in the studio one year later to record their second EP; Maybe You're Changing EP.
And this is where we stand now. Ready to get out and get dirty on the roads to bring our music to a stage near you.
